Warranty Policy

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and performance failures under normal use. It works alongside, and does not replace any rights you hold under Indian law.

1. Warranty Period

All Plaud products sold through our India website carry a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, as shown on your sales invoice or order confirmation.

  • Plaud Note
  • Plaud Note Pro
  • Accessories

2. What Is Covered

During the warranty period, we will replace your device free of charge if it experiences a failure caused by:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions.
  • Hardware faults that prevent the device from functioning as described.

For display defects arising from a manufacturing fault under normal use, we will replace the device with a functionally equivalent unit (a new unit), as display repair on this model requires whole-device replacement.

To make a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase (digital receipt, bank statement, or invoice accepted).
  • The device serial number (SN).

If you cannot locate your invoice, contact us and we will look up your order using your registered email address or mobile number.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover the following:

Physical and Accidental Damage

  • Drops, collisions, cracks, bending, compression, or scratches.
  • Liquid or moisture damage.
  • Display damage caused by impact, drops, or liquid ingress.

Misuse and Unauthorised Modification

  • Use outside the official operating guidelines.
  • Disassembly, repair, or modification not authorised by Plaud.
  • Altered, removed, or tampered serial numbers.

Third-Party Accessories

  • Damage or malfunctions caused by non-official accessories, including third-party magnetic rings, cables, or charging docks.
  • Device damage caused by non-official magnetic rings.

Normal Wear and Consumables

  • Cosmetic wear, minor surface scratches, and natural aging of consumable parts such as magnetic rings and wristbands, unless a defect was present at the time of purchase.

Other Exclusions

  • Devices purchased from unauthorised resellers or third-party marketplaces in India. Please refer to our Where to Buy page for a list of official purchase channels.
  • Failures caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters or floods.
  • Lost or stolen devices or accessories.

4. Warranty Service Options

All approved warranty claims will be resolved through device replacement. We will replace your device with a new unit of the same model. Repair services are not available under this warranty.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1 — Contact Us

Email support@agelessdigital.com with the following:

  • Your order number and/or device serial number (SN)
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or video of the fault, if applicable

Step 2 — Review

Our team will assess your claim and respond within 2 business days.

Step 3 — Return the Device

If we need the device returned for inspection, we will provide:

  • Packaging instructions

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the device has been confirmed as defective.

Step 4 — Replacement Dispatch

Once we receive and inspect your device, we will confirm the outcome within 5 business days and dispatch a replacement unit within 7–10 business days. Replacement shipping to you is covered by us at no additional cost.

The warranty on a replacement device covers the remainder of the original warranty period and does not reset upon replacement.

6. Consumer Rights and Grievance Escalation

Your rights under this warranty are in addition to your statutory rights under Indian law. If you are not satisfied with our warranty response, you may escalate it to our Grievance Officer:

All complaints submitted to the Grievance Officer will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Indian law, our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of your device. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from a product defect.
